Spotted Skin....Sunspots--
what is the cause and how do i treat it?

This is a common skin condition usually more noticeable on your neck, upper chest and back when your tan starts getting darker.  This is caused by a type of fungus called Tinea Versicolor.  People with oily skin seem to be more susceptible than those with dry skin.

Treating this problem is fairly easy.  Either ask your salon if they sell sunspot treatment, or you can even try a dandruff shampoo.  Apply these treatments 2 times daily for a week or two.  It may take some time for these spots to catch up to the rest of your tan.

If you still have a problem we recommend seeing a dermatologist in your area.
